Alison Hennell BSc, ACA
Consultant, Finance into Focus
Alison has over fifteen years experience in the design and delivery of tailored financial learning programmes. Her programme designs are exciting and innovative, incorporating a wide variety of learning techniques. Her delivery style is stimulating and challenging and she brings her subject to life by using anecdotes and topical business news to illustrate and explain key points.
Alison qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1990 and subsequently spent two years on secondment to their Sydney office. On returning to the UK, Alison Joined ATC as a finance tutor. In 1995 she moved to the Management Training Partnership. At MTP she designed and delivered tailored financial learning to managers of businesses including Heinz, Unilever, Safeways, Boots and British Airways.
Since 2000 Alison has worked as a learning consultant designing and delivering financial learning programmes for blue chip companies including UBS, Credit Suisse, Friends Provident, Shell, T- Mobile, William Hill, Waterstones and Sun Micsrosystems. These programmes have covered a wide variety of financial topics and have been delivered to a range of management levels. Alison also lectures at Ashridge and Henley Business Schools and she has written several financial publications including "Shareholder Value Explained" published by the Financial Times.
